The AIR (Artist in Residence) program at CCAS is an intensive day program offered to emerging High School artists that forms a positive network to expand one’s existing practice, work collaboratively, discuss art critically and inspire one another. “The AIR program is a great example of how communities and individuals can come together to support young artists and encourage them to pursue their talents.” Sara Manchester, Executive Director of Create: Community Arts Studio.
Create: Community Arts Studio is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization offering programing to local communities with the support of dedicated volunteers and generous donations from individuals and community partners. There is no cost to attend the show. Donations will go towards the Scholarship fund to make the arts available to everyone.
The AIR program is made possible with the collaboration of studio sponsors, visiting artists and local art galleries. The studio would like to thank visiting artist Drake Nagel, from Happy’s Taco Shop, artists Meredith Krell and Steve Toornman for the studio tour, and studio sponsors Pat & Jane O’Brien, John & Savanah Cool, Randy & Jane Korthase, and Dr. Michael & Christy Manchester for their generous support.
