VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the backbone of any nonprofit organization and Create is no different. We are always open to volunteers who wish to share their knowledge, energy, and excitement for art’s ability to create change. We offer a wide variety of volunteering opportunities both in and outside of the studio. From gallery docents or through our community outreach events, you’ll be sure to find a fun way to become part of Create!

YOUTH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

One of the most important and influential components of our studio is our youth mentorship program. Mentors meet with the studio facilitator to discuss family expectations and identify areas in which the children would like to participate: self esteem, confidence building, artistic skill development and/or making friends. Our mentors are a vital part of setting the tone for the studio by offering individual attention to children and forming meaningful relationships. CCAS reaches out to high school students for mentorship opportunities and provides volunteer training programs that match individuals and children according to their talents and gifts.

I'd like to become a Youth Mentor!
